About Mountain Musicabin

Private piano & violin lessons are available for children and adults; topics covered include music reading, artistic interpretation, theory, technique, and sight-reading.  Lesson times range from 30 - 45 minutes, depending on each student's needs.

All students are encouraged to participate in this statewide program offered by the Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC). CM is designed to promote growth and excellence in acquisition and application of musical skills. Preparation begins in August of each year.

   Students of Mountain Musicabin present recitals twice a year - usually in May and November.

Additionally, students are invited to perform at a quarterly "Gospel Jubilee" at First Baptist Church of Alpine, in Alpine, California. Gospel Jubilees are a kind of talent show where people play instruments, sing, present readings, recite poetry, etc.
